It took us 2 days, but now it’s done. The WordPress VM are finally upgraded and automated. In this version we use wp-cli to handle the upgrades and once you run the setup script everything is configured, apps are downloaded and installed, the MySQL setup are more secure – even a new user is created that you specify during the first setup. From now on you can expect that the VM is upgraded more often as the process is automated it’s easier for us to release new versions.
