Next week we will move all our storage to a brand new server with ZFS capabilities and hot-swap raid to ensure a more reliable solution with no (or very minimal) downtime when changing failed disks or restoring old data.
For this migration to be as smooth and safe as possible we will shut down our servers, install new 10 GBe NICs and move all the VMs to the new FreeNAS server. This will mean that there will be some downtime, we expect about 3 days, but it could be less depending on if everything runs smooth.
In the meantime you will be able to download the most important VMs from our off-site backup server also located in Sweden. This site will also be hosted on that server, but links on this site may or may not work during that time.
We expect the downtime to take place between Thursday September 29 – Saturday October 1.
